{Photo Journal} Arles, France

Sunflower fields, colorful flags lining the streets, turquoise shutters, bakeries with meringue cookies, an ancient Roman Ampitheatre, bullfights, home to Van Gogh (1888-1889) & his Cafe Terrace By Night... this is Arles! After exploring town, we headed to the nearby Pont du Gard aqueduct (UNESCO World Heritage Site) to cool off!

{Photo Journal} Beaune, France

It's Thanksgiving weekend and I'm finally sorting through pictures from a trip to France I took this past summer, yikes! Here's a quick glimpse at the town of Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy. We were only there for the afternoon but had some time to weave our way through the cobble-stone streets. We happened upon a beautiful church (Notre Dame de Beaune), wine cellars, a nougat shop, a cafe with amazing chocolate croissants and finally the Hôtel-Dieu Museum, a former hospital for the poor founded in 1443 and home of the famous charity wine auction. Thankful this Thanksgiving for the opportunity to travel!
